Molina was a stay busy fight for Klitschko as December 2016 date was moved due to Wlad's injury. Takam was a late replacement for Pulev who was the IBF mandatory. So nope, the only person who ducked here was Ortiz.
That's what is wild about these claims. If Ortiz had been patient he was next up as WBA mando. Instead he chased Wilder, popped dirty, and Povetkin was next in line. Only has himself to blame And as you mention, he ducked Joshua, and Ruiz stepped up
Ring had Wallin as a top 10 HW contender, was that accurate? In inflated ranking plus a vacant title win over Arreola doesn't make Stiverne a better win than non-titlist, lower Ring ranked Ortiz, or Chisora for that matter.
Joshua could have fought Ortiz instead of Breazeale, Molina or Takam. But there is always an excuse when Joshua fights a knock over. Why did Ortiz "duck" Joshua? Was he more afraid than Eric Molina? Was he terrified of a career high payday against a green/vulnerable champ? The Matchroom narrative makes no sense.
Chisora's 5 best wins are old Pulev, old Joyce, Takam, Wallin, Scott Ortiz's 5 best wins are Jennings, Martin, Hammer, Scott, old Thompson Chisora has 14 losses, albeit he could reasonably have 11. Ortiz has 3 losses, 2 of them against a fighter who also beat Chisora. For 5+ years, Ortiz was ranked in Ring's top 6. Chisora himself said multiple times he would never fight Ortiz due to the Cuban being "A hard night at the office".
Molina and Szlilka beat Adamek and gave prime Wilder much better fights than Herndon gave shot Wilder, so they are way above. Szpilka also beat Wach. Gavern, Firtha, Scott, Harrison, Liakhovich, Price, Beck, Manswell, Sconiers, Morales, maybe others. Herndon may well not be in Wilder's top 20 but he certainly isn't close to top 10.
80-90% of the forum disagree with you. Wallin wasn't top 10 regardless of what Ring said. And Stiverne at 3 is crazier than Wallin being Ring ranked.
Do you also consider Stiverne a better win than Ortiz? The guy you've argued may be the best HW to never win a title.
People also forget molina was a fight that was reportedly part of a deal where PBC allowed AJ to challenge Martin
You just make it up as you go along. Stiverne had a higher Ring ranking than Ortiz and was a "world champion", so by your own logic Stiverne was the better win ("I defer to authority"). But when you are caught out, suddenly your own criteria doesn't apply and the goalposts are moved. Chisora is "fringe" apparently, yet also a 2x world title challenger who gave Vitali and Usyk some of their hardest fights. Stiverne is a better win because of his fake ranking and paper title, yet Chisora has a much better list of wins and performances. And Wilder had to overcome far more adversity to beat Chisora than he did Stiverne. According to the Ring rankings at the start of 2015, Stiverne was better than Tyson Fury (as well as Pulev, Jennings, Wilder, Joshua, Ortiz, Chisora, and young versions of Parker, Ruiz, Whyte). Is this true?
