Yeah really can't see how anybody could deny that Dubois has a shaky chin. Wardley is going to shatter it for sure

Dubois's glass chin is getting blown to bits today, worse than ever. Those shaky whiskers will NOT withstand Wardley's punches. Dubois will be napping on that canvas early

This won't age well as Dubois has a glass brain when he cannot land his shots aka against Usyk...BUT when he can land his shots (which he will against Wardley) he's a machine with a solid chin who should stylistically beat Wardley either via knockout or points depending on how sturdy Wardley's chin is which is still largely unknown against an elite-level puncher.

i don't think anybody's chin would be that great against Dubois... Joyce took his power but he was something else at that point. Hrgovic took a lot of shots but he was staggering about all over the place, still a great chin. Wardley would probably not take it very well....

I think Wardley is going to plant Dubois

Solid chin??? This is a fighter who got bounced off the canvas by some mediocre cruiserweight and then stopped by another former cruiser.

His chin is atrocious and is about to get shattered yet again!

Don't think he has a glass jaw, I just don't think he knows how to react to adversity.

He wasn't hurt after getting knocked down twice tonight, but he did immediately look to his corner, which again leads me to think he's just not fully confident in his ability. The way he speaks and carries himself outside the ring just screams of his issues coming down to confidence rather than have a glass chin.

Honestly, no one should have their fights with Usyk counted on their resumes. He's just an absolute alien. Trying to take away something about a guy because of how he looks versus the Cossack Warlord is silly. Dubois has an iron chin if he can keep landing punches.

The other interpretation might be that he's so confident in his ability that he's happy to take a knee as and when needed as a sort of strategical ploy to avoid a manageable situation escalating out of control, whilst knowing that he has the skill to get a fight back on track in later rounds. Perhaps an overly charitable interpretation but the initial (understandable) skittishness after getting knocked down initially seemed to wear off very quickly and he did indeed get the fight back on track. In danger of veering into psychoanalysis here however so I'll leave it at that!

I don't think true "Fighters" think like that though, that's the problem. You were never going to see Wardley take a knee for example.

In a post Usyk Heavyweight division Dubois has all the tools, besides confidence, to dominate this division alongside Itauma. But it's than mental aspect which will stop him from doing so.
