He's one extreme to another. I don't know what the hell is up with this guy and stoppages. He needs to try and land somewhere in the middle between "Stop the fight if someone gets grazed with a jab" and "stop the fight when one fighter is blind with a broken nose staggering across the ring after taking 10 rounds of brutal life changing punishment"

Yep he’s a very sharp communicator so as you say any decline will be obvious. I quite like his punditry in other fights.

Didn't enjoy the last few rounds at all. That wasn't boxing.

I'm not sure Wardley will be the same after that fight.

Yeah people need to stop talking about a rematch, he just got brutally beat up and shouldn't be fighting for a while

Yeah midway through the fight i was thinking a rematch would be great....but after how that ended I don't want to see that for Wardley.

Edit: Chuck Wardley in with Wilder. That'll build his confidence back as Wardley will chin Wilder.

Jusy hope Wardleys is off to the hospital for a brain scan. He needs a proper once over and monitoring after that. Never seen a man take so much punishment and not go down.

That nose though. I reckon my 4 year old daughter could open that up with jab.

I would guess that tonight it was a world heavyweight champion who's come back from behind in his last two fights. I don't agree with him at all but I can understand the thinking.

If Howard Foster had ended it then the amount of Internet morons screaming robbery would have been huge. Should have ended then. I was not comfortable with the last 2 rounds.

Think Wardley's biggest flaw tonight was trying to load up on every shot.
He missed a lot of wild swings and they must have taken a lot out of him

All he has is the 1-2. Commentators were right all night, he had to vary the punches and disguise that right hand. It became too easy for Dubois to just use his feet to skip out of range and back in again. But we knew Wardley was limited so it’s not a surprise. Davison usually has his fighters feinting to the body a lot more and that’s what Wardley should have done to set up the overhand right.
