Two great jabbers with great power and skill but shaky chin, if Dubois fought Wladimir in his prime who would have won?

Klitschko was a hard and accurate puncher, and had more advanced skills than Wardley.

Klitschko 2006-2014 would have stopped Dubois.

I would favour Wlad but he never fought anyone with Dubois' attributes prior to a green Joshua, who beat him.

Dubois could land a KO shot and would be a problem for Wlad. But I think Wlad is just too disciplined and technically sound for Dubois.

    Wlad wins 8/10.

41 year old Wlad stops Dubois. End of thread.

Klitschko has all the tools needed to win, and win pretty easily but there's a VERY good chance he freezes against Dubois and gets bulldozed like Joshua. Dubois would be the best big man he'd faced, would not be nearly as easy to control and out muscle, and would have more than enough power to render Wladimir unconscious. On his absolute best day with Manny Steward in his corner though I think he should win. Puts Dubois down heavily a few times and then out for the count around the 7th round. Again, this would be a VERY dangerous fight for him though. Doesn't have the mental strength and adaptability of a Lewis who I more confidently think beats Dubois.

Dubois could beat him. Wlad's style was built primarily on being the bigger fighter. It's one of the major reasons he couldn't beat Fury.

I think Wlad is overrated as an ATG, but Wlad walks him onto a sickening right hand because of Dubois's low ring IQ. Dubois has not proven himself at all on Wlad's level. The only fighter he's fought who's close to Wlad's level is Usyk, and he lost every single round of both fights, and lost both by stoppage.

I think we need to take stock here. Obviously, the earlier versions of Wlad that crumbled against Sanders, etc., would probably lose to Dubois, but the dominant Wlad (2006-2011) is a level above him.

    False.

Wlad usually had an easy time against men his own size (McCline, Jefferson, Austin, Wach, Thompson, Wolfgramm) until he got old.

Wlad is simply better at anything that Dubios can do. If Wardley can put Dubios on his ass with Wlad he ain't getting back up.

A peak Wladimir Klitschko puts Dubois out inside 3 rounds.

The first Thompson fight wasn't easy and McCline wasn't that good. The rest are total nonentities.

Who did Wlad ever put out in 3 rounds? His only stoppage win against a decent fighter inside 6 was Pulev.

Dubois is a good fighter, but again Wlad is technically levels above him. Like the Joyce fight, Dubois would be eating those jabs all night.

McCline was in the Ring top ten at the time he fought Klitschko, he actually was a good heavyweight.

I remember McCline stopped Michael Grant in round one.
