Really good card from top to bottom in my opinion. Plenty of fights which I could easily pick either fighter too which is always a good sign.

Amosov is super impressive on the ground and a big threat if he were to get a fight with Makhachev imo.

 

God my early prelim predictions were awful. Just 1 out of 4 correct. But I believe I have gotten six correct in a row now

 

Even though I picked against him, I am glad Volkov won.

 

God i hate how fights get scored. I dont mind Sean winning because they done him dirty with Chimaevs weight but you cannot retreat and flick a jab and say thats winning a round. Khamzat 3-2 for me worst case scenario.

 

If you’re throwing at such a different rate to your opponent, who’s strikes aren’t exactly meaningful either, I won’t complain.

 

Same, Volkov should be the one gettting a title shot not Gane

 

Theres got to be something to benefit the aggressor the guy pushing the fight. Id also argue Khamzats were more damaging than 100 flick jabs

 

I’ll have to rewatch it but outside of a select few were they really all that damaging? I recall GGG throwing tremendous amount of jabs against Canelo first time around and the sheer volume compared to Canelo was enough to win him rounds. Sean was throwing a LOT more.
