Daniel Dubois vs 1997 Lennox Lewis

I had similar thoughts. More barroom brawl at the start until it settled down a bit.

The difference between them really came down to Dubois using a jab and some footwork around a fairly static target in Wardley (who couldn't hit a barn door after three rounds).

 

The legal costs would of been more than 1m. So we don't know

If Golota truly believed his case he'd take it to court and get the 21m or close to it

 

I’m not sure the costs would have been over 1 million. Thirty years ago that’s a lot of money.
I laid out the points in another post, and the Doctor settled I’m confident the post fight seizure was caused by the Lidocaine injection.

 

So while I pick Lewis in this one, we have to also admit that Dubois has shown a lot of firepower and courage in some of his fights lately. If short stack Rahman could do the job, we would have to give DD at least as much chance against Lewis, and maybe more.

 

Lennox is reading that textbook style, jabbing and outmaneuvering Dubois before he brings the hammer down
