Please Salido was way too rough at that point for Loma and he roughed up Loma.

Loma lost to Salido and Teo. I personally think he just started too late in both fights - perhaps a glitch from his long amateur tenure.

I thought he beat Haney clean. 7-5. Watched it twice.

With fairer judges, Loma has no losses. Teo was the closest fight, and Loma was the only one dominating major stretches of the fight - 9 to 11 from memory.

Salido came in overweight and punched Loma in the balls a dozen or more times.

Loma beat Haney 8 to 4 at a minimum.

    is this post a joke

    Do you need glasses

if Salido was PROPERLY handled by a competent ref, he loses that fight

of course he was rough, he was getting away with low blows all night

he easily should have had multiple points deducted which would have swung the win to Loma

I can’t believe people still act like Salido was anything other than a horrific cheater

oh, he also didn’t shed the last few pounds on purpose and that helped him not struggle going into the fight

    • Failed Weight-In: Salido weighed in over the limit, forcing him to lose his WBO Featherweight title on the scales before the fight even started.
    • Excessive Low Blows: Observers noted dozens of punches landed below the belt line, with estimates often exceeding 40 illegal blows, none of which resulted in a point deduction.
    • Roughhouse Tactics: Reports and fan commentary noted Salido frequently used holding, headbutts, and hitting on the break.
    • Referees/Officiating: Referee Laurence Cole was heavily criticized for not controlling the fight or penalizing Salido for his actions.

Yep 7 round Teo won. I was going for loma but predicted he'd lose. He was way too slow to get going.

I saw the fight he lost and he wasn't ready for that type of opponent.

Then Loma should have done it right back to him but he didn't.

Haney and Salido were laughable robberies .
    Loma won both fights 8-4.
Both bouts competitive , but neither were close.

Lopez was a draw or 7-5 to Teo. Great effort with a torn labrum but what can you do?

No Loma deserved to lose the Lopez fight clearly.

Loma threw a pitiful 62 punches in the first 6 rounds when most Lightweights would be averaging that amount of thrown punches in 1 or 2 rounds.

Loma comeback in the 2nd half of the fight but he left it too late. And Lopez dominated the 12th round to seal the deal on a clear win.

No mental gymnastics is gifting Loma a win in that fight he clearly lost end of.
