Well considering you probably won't get to see Usyk fight for close to another year.

And just for the spectacle and decent undercard it's probably worth it.

The post-Wlad era is hard to define because Usyk is the clear standout but he didn't have a serious HW fight until 5 years into the era, almost halfway through. The three-headed monster for almost 6 years was Fury-Joshua-Wilder. But he has since beaten three guaranteed or likely HOF in Fury, Joshua and Dubois, a collective 6 times. The only other likely post-Wlad HoF thus far is Wilder, and he has a 0-2-1 record against Fury; the consensus 2nd fighter of the era and clear No.1 HW before Usyk established himself against Joshua.

Dubois' success has increased the credibility of calling this "the Usyk era". Some talk about "not enough fights" but he only needed 3-4 years to make it his era beyond any question.

I'll personally be watching the free highlights on youtube and maybe follow the RBR on the day. It ain't getting my money that's for sure.

The point is, they won't have to. He will be an ATG and his praises will be sung by all.

Well, probably not, because he has not beaten the special fighters that Usyk has.

He beat the elite of the heavyweight division after beating the elite of the cruiserweight division. He's a legend in his own time.

The rest of "all comers" pretty much suck. He'll fight Kabayel next, and it will add to his legacy. As always, I do agree that Parker would been a worthy fight, but Joe blew it a bit. I hope he comes back, beats Dubois, and they do it down the line.

What Usyk says he wants changes with the weather. I'll believe it when I see it.
