Hope the Croc wins but I’m surprised he didn’t vacate his belt tbh once this was ordered and the location of it.

 

Why has Crocker agreed to go all the way to Australia for this? Paro wins this one. Crocker should have held out for a lucrative domestic fight against Eggs Benn, and he's got a better chance of beating Benn, too.

It's only fair our Aussie lads can't be expected to travel all the time. But I do agree from your perspective.

 

If Paro was the champ, I'd have no issues with it, but to be fair to him, he did outbox Matias in Puerto Rico and then fought Hitchins there as well. He deserved a homecoming fight after that amazing win and didn't get one. From Crocker's perspective, it doesn't make sense, so he must have been offered a serious amount of coin, so it's win-win. He loses his title here, though, and then loses a lot of his stock in the division. I'm not sure why he's taken this route, but it should be a good fight.

 

I'm trying to work out who's got less fight in them - American fans in relation to Errol Spence fighting in Australia or British / Irish fans in relation to Lewis Crocker? It sounds to me like a lot of them are getting their excuses in early.

Just b/c your own commissions & officials aren't stacking the deck like they usually do at home doesn't mean you can't win out here. Overseas fighters usually get neutral officials in big fights when fighting in Australia so get a grip & pull yourselves together.

 

I believe that Crocker's request for a voluntary defense was denied and was instructed to defend the belt against Paro.
It then went to purse bids and No Limit (Paro's promoters) outbid Matchroom.
