Loma Haney .. the scores were disgusting.. maybe that's why Loma retired .. fk top rank off & give them nothing more cos they were part of it too
This. These kids talk just about scorecards. They should watch that and understand how a KO win was backtracked,a DQ win erased and a points win invalidaetd.
Is it considered a robbery if the ref is bent and stops the fight so a guy who was losing can get the win? It should be, right? If so, that Romero v. Barroso fight was the biggest robbery I've ever seen. Barroso is beating Rolly up and even drops him. Then Rolly shoves Barroso to the canvas and Tony Weeks calls it a knock down when it blatantly wasn't. Then Rolly starts throwing punches at Barroso on the ropes but literally misses every single punch. Weeks still calls the fight off. Barroso had taken zero damage, was miles ahead on the cards, and would clearly have won that fight. But PBC needed Rolly to have a belt so he could lose it to a better guy down the road (which he did when he fought Pitbull).
Kovalev-Ward I was one of the most obvious robberies, I was so disgusted I had less interest in watching boxing for months afterwards. Roy Jones after the fight "Kovalev won" Only the despicable Max Kellerman (who seems to have a gay infatuation with Ward) agreed with the judges.
Nearly half of Oquendo's losses are robberies, and I thought Holyfield and Chagaev was a draw: James Toney vs Fres Oquendo Chris Byrd vs Fres Oquendo Jean Marc Mormeck vs Fres Oquendo Oliver McCall vs Fres Oquendo
