Lomachenko is on of the greatest technicians ever. Apart from the fact that if you are in this elite class and you haven't grown up to value greed over everything, you probably have some sense of pride that prevents you from training dirty tactics, it is also the case that it might

- cost you time you could use for more useful techniques
- compromise your technique, so you would have to adapt in order to be able to fight dirty
- not work, because you are eastern european and not american/british and the referee would just stop you from using it. Even more likely if he doesn't stop your blatantly low blowing opponent somehow - it is likely that he had some reason to side with salido.
- affect the quality of your sparring, because you start to get into 'mud-fights' instead of training for what you are good at
- affect you mentally, because you stop focussing on technique (your strong suit and what makes you unique) and instead focus on the outcome, which might change too much of your mindset and ultimately change you as a fighter to the worse

I watched the Teofimo fight closely and Teo pulled it out in the last round.

Lomachenko was a superb amateur but there have been many of those, 18-3 with 12 kos is not the stuff legends are made of

 

With a bit of luck he’d have been undefeated. Salido fight was a joke & Haney was a robbery.

His shoulder was knackered vs Teo. Had him losing that one 7-5 with Teo winning the 12th.
