Lewis Crocker vs Liam Paro set for June 24th in Brisbane

Na, Crocker just isn't very good. He was getting completely schooled by Donovan in the first fight, and Donovan himself isn't world-level. Paro should take it comfortably. I'd say the same if Paro were fighting Crocker in the UK. He's just a better boxer with much better fundamentals.

 

Apparently Errol's not much chop these days either. Been out for three years, crashed his car, got flogged last start & won't be getting on the elephant juice in order to wind the clock back five years before coming out here.

 

I think Paro will win, and Eddie will send him an irresistible offer for him to fight Walker, leading to Walker becoming a world champion at Molineux.

This may be farfetched but let a man dream.

Aussie boxing fans are far too patriotic with it, I couldn’t care less if Crocker is British it just objectively makes sense for him not to fight in Australia. His decision and his career, may the best man win.

True, lower level fights the visitor virtually needs a KO to get a draw but no worse than the UK. or a PBC show in the states. High profile fights here are quite fair on the cards.

yeah, was wondering about that and although Liam is a terrific boxer, unfortunately he doesn't seem to be much of draw.
This was evident by his last bout at Pat Rafter arena against David Papot (sp?) in the IBF eliminator bout.
No Limit will be hoping for a sell-out, especially after forking out alittle over $1.1M to win the purse bid.

 

Also expect to see Big Nasty Nelson in with Tom Burgess YeeeeeHaaaawwww!

I recall Nelson's last bout was also on a ppv, which was shown live on PBC, and the US commenters bagged the **** outta it.

Liam Paro is a gun. Good guys of the sport deserve more recognition. He should of had a statue made of him after he beat Mattyse.
