Idi Amin was the Ugandan light heavyweight boxing champion. He challenges Spinks for the world title. 12 rounds

Idi Amin would win, but only if the venue were in Uganda.

Amin would only take the fight in Uganda.

He beat the national swim team in Uganda. He was special on his home turf.

So you don't think that we would need judges for this one?

Real analysis man. The British Empire was harder to beat than Spinks.

I'm assuming that your take has been inspired by rumors that Amin dabbled in cannibalism?

If he could manage it in boxing gloves I'd be bloody impressed.

Well - he was 'Lord of All the Beasts... ... ... etc.'
He'd probably have a Leopard in his corner.

Mike Tyson just ate Evander's ear.

Ida Amin will go all the way.

Big Daddy, and if the fight was held in Uganda that would be a fight Spinks definitely wouldn't want to win.

If my memory is correct, back in the 80s there was a guy fighting under the name of Idi Amin Something, I don't remember what.
Can you imagine getting an offer to fight "Idi Amin" for $6 million and thinking it's that guy? Then you get to Uganda and find out that it isn't that guy and you just finished reading the book where they talk about the real Idi Amin and cannibalism. Do you throw the fight and just accept being killed and eaten afterwards, or do you knock him out first and celebrate that as a moral victory while you are being eaten?
