Im so confused, thats not even the same sport lol, the scoring is judged differently

The striking numbers are really not that far apart considering the big advantage Strickland had in round 2. Factor in control time, advancing and retreating %, i thinks hes been blessed Sean but again, im glad because they robbed him on the scales with Khamzats "185lb"

Can you remember anything Sean did striking wise other than paw out a jab and retreat? Its criminal lol

Such a weird fight, I honestly had it 3-2 Khamzat but they both looked so horrible and off that it almost looked scripted lmfao. Khamzat gassing after 1 round when he just went a full 25 min last fight without a sweat, Strickland getting outboxed by him at moments. Odd.

Weird weird night, just replay Taira vs Van all week and call it a day.

I agree, outside of Chimaev's brilliant grabbling in Rd 1 both fighters looked very average to me as well whereas the Van-Taira fight both fighters looked absolute class. The main event was a very close fight and you can make a case for either fighter winning.

I’m probably going to cool it on predictions for a while lads, I did manage to bag second place with some friends and bag 50 bucks over the first quarter.

The winner spent his money on a cameo from Din Thomas saying ‘shout out to my man John pork for winning ….. prediction league’ and a few more bits that where personal to us as a friend group. It was bloody hilarious. I’ll still be watching along though, best of luck chaps

Went and rewatched round 3 and 5 of Chimaev and Strickland and it just reenforced the belief I had on the night that they weren’t even close rounds.

Not only does Strickland land TWICE as many strikes. 70+ in both rounds, he also has more than twice as many ‘harder’ shots.

Go watch the weasels breakdown on YouTube if you aren’t convinced. Anyone scoring that fight chimaev needs to re watch the fight or re accustom their self with the scoring criteria.
