Valdez was someone I never really considered as a truly elite level fighter although his performance with Berchelt was impressive. Fun fighter but definitely limited in ability. I was there when Valdez fought Wilson in AZ and it was awesome seeing it in person. I think the Navarrete fights really finished off whatever Valdez had left.
