If Itauma crushes Hrgovic, what's next?

If that happens you'd imagine it'll be DD or Wardley

Uysk more than likely won't use one of his few remaining fights against Moses

 

As far as I have seen Itauma-Hrgovic has not been signed, yet, and I will believe it when I see it.

 

Title fight obviously.

However, I hope Hrgovic tests him and doesn't get stopped early. As talented as Itauma is, his defense needs to be tested and it will happen sooner or later.

 

Dubios would be the logical next step for Itauma if he can beat Hrgovic.

Wouldn't be surprised if Itaumas camp lost their pens and are unable to sign anything after seeing Hrgovic more aggressive.

 

...against Dave Allen? I'm sure Itauma is quaking in his boots seeing Hrgovic put him away.

Afraid of what he did to Allen, no. Afraid of a more agressive Hrgovic, yes.

Moses fights journeymen, two of whom took him the distance and old men. Until he does something else I won't believe he's anything special.

 

I think the Franklin stoppage was impressive, and it wasn't his fault Whyte didn't have anything left tbh. He's only a prospect at the end of the day, and big up to him if he goes for Hrgovic next. Personally, I think Itauma steams through Hrgovic but we'll see.

I have a feeling the anti-Itauma crowd will find a way not to give him credit for the win though.

 

Hrgovic is not cut for this.

 

If Itauma beats Hrgovic the usual people will claim Hrgovic actually robbed Zhang, hasn't beaten any prime top 10 contenders and got destroyed by Dubois in order to discredit Moses.

They'll claim joshua is shot, Kabayel is unproven, Dubois has been thru too many wars, Parker was past it etc if any of them ended up losing to Itauma.

 

May depend on the schedule of other fighters.

I think Itauma's team may push for the winner of Dubois/Wardley. But, Itauma V Dubois/Wardley wouldn't take place until spring 2027.

Can see Itauma having another fight this winter against a ranked top 15 in one of the organisations, if he does amazing against Hrgovic - probably against a stablemate - eg Riakporhe, Anderson.

If he fights Hrgovic next I'll be surprised. If he fights Hrgovic next and wins not only shall I be surprised, I'll give him credit.
