Agreed. Itauma will outbox him and win a UD, unless Itauma gasses out.

Hrgovic had the potential to become a world champion. He could beat AJ while he was champion. But his career was badly managed. I also don't know how well Hrgovic did his part of the job.

    Basically this.

He's got a great chin and decent skills, but his power is pretty mediocre and he has always had stamina issues... This renders him incapable of beating any serious contender either by KO or on the cards - the odd fringe contender with a glass chin or a truly shocking gas tank and/or workrate might struggle, but it's rare that any fighter can succeed enough to reach that level with that kind of handicap.

It should tell us plenty about Itauma, one way or another - if he can stop Hrgovic he's packing mega heat, if Hrgovic can stop him then he's packing glass, if he cruises to a wide UD then he's got the stamina, if he barely scrapes past or loses on the cards he has stamina problems.

It's the perfect fight to tell us a lot more... You'd think they're only taking it because they can see Hrgovic limitations and think Itauma will pass the test - I guess we'll see.

He's a lower top tens right now only because the division is pretty thin on serious contenders at the moment.

It's not nothing, but in all seriousness he's the quintessential gatekeeper.

He's too good for the journeymen, but lacks paths to victory against pretty much any contender you'd care to choose - not a big enough hitter for a punchers chance, not got the gas tank for cards, but a good enough chin that very few will stop him - solid, but not special.

I really think you under rate his power
Whilst not 1 shot KO power he has heavy hands

Allen, as poor as he is, is a fairly tough guy and he was clearly distressed with every blow that landed on Saturday

I think mediocre is pretty fair - I didn't say he's pillowfisted and couldn't stop anyone at all... But his power is pretty limited, he's not realistically stopping guys who aren't easy to hit and easy to rack up the accumulation on.

Allen's pretty solid for a journeyman - but he's taken plenty of punishment and isn't hard to hit... If Hrgovic was pillowfisted he'd have seen the final bell, but it doesn't take the biggest punchers in the division to stop guys like Allen.

He can come across as lazy in the ring, at times VS Zhang it looked like he wanted to be elsewhere but Adeleye was lighting him up and he took it and came back to win.

He seems to been matched cautiously - but a guy who has stopped 15 of 20 and a win over Zhang should be respected. Does he beat USyk, dont think so.. too slow on his feet and Usyk doesn't struggle to land on a big target he can out maneuver.
Does he beat Ituma - not sure but his height and reach and the fact he does have some kind of a dig + plus wanting to further his own career means he will give mosses something to think about.
Some interesting fights out there for him I think, he's been around a bit now, a couple of solid wins and he could hit the big time - I'd like to see him VS Kaybayel - another one that seems content for people to think he's a great without going to the next level.
