I’ve got to be honest, anyone buying tickets to watch Dave Allen have to be questioned. Maybe they are working class folk who love having excuses as to why their lives are ****? Just like Dave is relatable to them and full of excuses

 

Yea, that´s a bit too soon, if being honest. Then again, at least hes not fighting anyone with a pulse.
And hopefully this is it for Allen and world level boxing. Maybe aim lower? Like the British title.

 

Because Allen is usually in good fights? And the Brits are awesome boxing fans?

He shouldn't' be allowed to fight for 3 months after a stoppage involving heavy head shots. Boxing just seems to have no governance these days,

 

Seems to be doing right as far as the prices of tickets and free beer is concerned for his fans.

Dave Allen has many admirable qualities including resilience and humor. Most of us aren't elite in our professions and there is something to be said for an underdog who keeps persevering. I grew up in a working-class family and most of my friends are "working class folks." I haven't heard them offer too many excuses and most of them have gratitude for what they earned through the sweat of their brows.

 

Mediocrity shouldn't be rewarded so much

I don't get it. There are better fights to actually pay to watch. People are willing to pay for this?

Allen is the single worst HW in the division with name recognition. Anyone worse than Allen is someone you(chronic boxing24 user) haven't heard of.
