The argument would likely be that Fury already faced a tougher tune up in Mahkmudov and he's decided to take a page out of AJs book. Being consistent, I'll be rather vocal if Fury did decide to take the **** like that.
AJ should have picked Makhmudov, blasted him out in a few rounds (which he would), then used that as a call out. “Tyson, you went the distance with this guy? Man you can’t punch”.
1. Wladimir 2. Wilder 3. Whyte 4. Chisora 5. Miller It would arguably be the 5th best Heavyweight opponent that Fury has beaten so yes it would IMO.
I'd rate Wallin and Mahkmudov over Miller tbh, and I barely rate them as it is. At least with Ruiz he had a competitive fight with Parker, a victory over AJ and a win over Ortiz.
I think Miller would beat Wallin in a H2H match up see the Chisora fight. I don't see how you have Makhmudov above Miller TBH. Miller also beat Ruiz the draw was an absolute gift as everyone knows.
At this current time with Joshua’s pick of Prenga I don’t think Fury will care less,Joshua does have the stoppage wins of Ngannou and Wallin he could remind Fury of those fights !
Ruiz is a short, fat, cement footed plodder who beat the crap out of joshua Fury should have taken this fight a long time ago. Sylistically tailor made for him lol
Chisora is more proven than Miller is. Miller throws a lot of punches and seems to have a decent chin, but that's about it. He doesn't really have any notable wins and couldn't fight AJ because he failed a drug test. Eh, probably bias there on my part. Realistically Miller and Mahkmudov are around the same level. That was against a Ruiz who hadn't had a fight in a very long time, well past his best and Miller still couldn't do enough to convincingly win it. Prime for prime Ruiz stops him. Who has Miller beaten to suggest he's better than either of them? Dave Allen is a bit of an odd stick to measure with.
Chisora was 40+ years old and considerably past it when he won every round vs Wallin. All Chisora did was throw alot of punches and have a good chin at that point in his career and he still whooped Wallin. Miller is basically the same a limited swarmer type fighter with a good chin I don't see why stylistically he wouldn't be favoured over Wallin.
It proves Wallin lost every round to a past it Chisora who was 40+ years old. Miller resembles Chisora stylistically a swarming limited fighter skill wise who has a good chin and can throw alot of punches. So why wouldn't a fresher younger Miller be favoured over Wallin stylistically ? It's not like Wallin is some proven fighter either his claim to fame is losing in a spirited effort to Fury. He don't have much of a resume in terms of notable wins.
Could be interpreted that a 40 year old Chisora still had the goods. He's fought consistently better opposition over his career too, whereas Miller hasn't. Miller might be able to beat Wallin, but he hasn't really done much to prove it either.
