Who wins? Moses Itauma or Frank Sanchez?

Moses destroys him. Sanchez struggled with Huni in sparring because of his speed and pressure

 

Itauma destroys him.

 

Itauma would need to be very cautious, but apply educated pressure, back him into those corners (which Sanchez end up in a lot) and then set him up for combinations, don’t open up blindly with no set up like like Torrez.

Itauma shouldn’t box with him though, as I believe Sanchez is better in that regard, movement and lightness of feet, counters etc, but I’d favour Itauma in the fight, but I believe Sanchez gives him a lot of issues with his boxing ability, but Itauma would probably be able to get him into them corners and probably outwork him with combinations while Sanchez is on the ropes.

 

Come on, Itauma rips him apart any way he wants.

 

Sanchez is no slouch, and Itauma has fought no-one anywhere near the level of him, he’s only looked consistently impressive against no-names/gatekeepers and old men.

Sanchez has great fundamentals, is explosive, has a defence and has extremely sharp counters. Itauma has fought no-one like him.

 

According to brits, there’s no point in Itauma wasting his time fighting anyone other than Usyk. They say he destroys everyone in two rounds and knocks out Usyk in three if the fight happens.

 

Based on what? Itauma turned down the Sanchez fight *doesn't want that smoke*

 

Huni is quite good. Not sure struggling with him means anything.

 

No one has said that. You're disappointed that Torres just lost. For what it's worth, he was never that good to begin with.

 

Itauma should win. But he needs to overwhelm Sanchez and not get caught. Itauma himself admitted being dropped in sparring two times as a teen. The second one was against one of Joe Joyce' sparring partners.

"I was supposed to spar Joe Joyce and then he never turned up. And the guy I was meant to be sparring, I was looking at him on the pads and I'm like, 'He doesn't look that good.'

"So I was like, 'I'm going to go in and blast him out and then I'll be on my way home.'

"In the first round I got a shock. Then we had a little ding dong and things escalated really quickly."

So don't be shocked if Itauma has suspect chin like Torrez. He was never properly hit in any official fight yet.

 

Itauma appears to be a good fighter but I'm kind of blown away by the hype being thrown around. We definitely need to see him against some real competition. As someone mentioned earlier, Itauma - Kabayel would be a good one. Let's see what the young lion can do.

He is, B level max. Look how crap he looked against Carlos Negron and Jr Fa. I guess Torrez was just grossly overrated, he got wiped out
