You need a dictionary, and a new set of eyes. Sanchez just beat a prospect with ease, and if Sanchez is mediocre then what does that make Torrez? Or Efe Ajagba?

Sanchez might never have beaten a top 10 opponent, as hes only fought 1, but he is clearly in the top 20 himself, or at the very least in the top 30. Mediocre boxers don't get to that point.
Mediocre boxers get KTFO by the likes of Sanchez. When it comes to world class boxing, Sanchez is probably B tier, who can beat some A´s and loose to some C´s, because styles do make fights.

I'll be real. I've barely watched any of this at all even though Catterall actually dropped Giyasov heavily early. I tend to do that during Catterall fights

He did himself a lot of good today!

I think one problem you have is that you pick a fight that suits your confimration bias and try to push that as defining a fighter. Maybe we all do that, but you really push hard for your narrative. Fighters have bad nights. They have injuries and colds, and personal troubles, come in out of shape, and sometimes just pick the wrong strategy. You have to look at the fighter's whole career.

Giyasov seems lost of idea on what to do. He is pawing with the left and not doing much

Gotta be 7-1 at least on the cards plus the KD. Easy night for Catterall and Giyasov has been getting schooled.

If I were in Giyasov's corner, I would tell him to switch to the southpaw stance, if he is able to do that. Otherwise, this fight is over.

He's mediocre in regards to the top 20 talent pool. He hasn't beaten any top 10 heavyweights, he's unproven and wasn't remotely competitive with Kabayel. There is nothing on his resume suggeting he's a genuine top 10 in the world
