**** that was for a title as well, who did that guy fight to get there? That question is worse for the main event circus too but at least Usyk has run a gauntlet of elite opponents, it shouldn't be for ANY belt at all.

 

Sheeraz is now rated alongside other memorable Super Middleweight champions like....

RJJ, James Toney, Joe Calzaghe, Nigel Benn, Andre Ward, Carl Froch.

I can't even keep a straight face typing this out.

 

At least AJ fought someone who already held the belt, this was for a vacant title. And since we are making comparisons; at least Sheeraz clearly beat his opponent, unlike Martin who got the title due to Glazkov suffering a freak injury. Then again, both Martin and Glazkov are clearly higher level than Babic.

I mean I’m happy for him being a fellow Brit and everything but when I see Ball had to beat Ford, Kelly had to beat Murtzaliev and Dalton had to beat Matias……this takes a thousand shines off any of that.
