Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Usyk vs. Ricardo Verhoeven & Frank Sanchez vs. Richard Torrez Jr. RBR.

I have never seen Verhoeven fight, how does he stack up with the K1 greats like Hoost, Schilt, Aerts, etc.? Haven't watched any kickboxing since I guess Cro Cop won the GP in I think 2012.

 

I didn't realize that was for the actual super middleweight belt, how the **** does that happen? Who did that guy fight to earn that shot?? Again, yes we know the main event is a circus and absolutely should NOT be for any belts, but you would hope the second from top event would actually be a competitive and acceptable contest if it's for the super middleweight world title.

 

I think Rico will be more competitive than Dubois or Joshua in the first fight, at least for the first half, but ultimately flame out. I have stated my reasons elsewhere.

 

Usyk better not drag this out too long. At least respect your opponent enough to give him 100%.

 

Yeah that got me too, if he meant 'a great of all time' that would be fine, but it sounded too much even for Bud

 

I'm a little bit conflicted when it comes to the main event; as always I want Usyk to win, and in the extremely unlikely eventuality Rico pulls it off my heart will be broken. On the other hand Rico comes across as a level headed, decent man and I would hate to see him humiliated; ultimately I would like to see Usyk win in a reasonably competitive fight, and for Rico to prove his mettle as a boxer afterwards in a few fights against fringe contenders.

 

Im not sold on Sheeraz whatsoever. This push for him to be a Superstar is criminal.

 

Must say I’m VERY disappointed in this card. On paper I was quite excited to see how it shaped up but it’s been rubbish.

Hoping Usyk doesn't play with his food and just blasts him out of there inside 2 rounds, sick of these crossover fights

 

It’s 7.30am The Prowler just crawled out of bed ready to watch the great man Usyk in action

 

Usyk will fight in 1st gear against the Dutch bloke. Anything more and he'd blow him away.

 

Not watching this, but I expect Usyk to take the first 4 rounds to see how Verhoeven fights.

 

The amount of useless drivel being spoken inbetween fights is insufferable

 

So Jason Statham made this fight? LOL
