When Rico gets close, Usyk keeps expecting him to just clinch and hold and wait for the ref break, instead he lands hard inside shots.

 

People on here were actually picking Usyk to beat prime Mike Tyson just a few days ago

I now have it a draw, with Verhoeven surging in the last couple of rounds (after having Usyk up 77-75 through eight and not down since round three)

Usyk had a great last 45 seconds to a minute of R10 and stunned Verhoeven but was getting pummeled before that. I had it 10-9 Verhoeven, ultra close.

 

Ngannou and Rico are top tier strikers in their sport, and there is really no real data for boxers to work off of when facing them.
Now imagine fighting someone like Mayweather, Whittaker, or Pacquiao in an era with no fight footage to study.

It's actually really similar to what Chisora did to Usyk.

You need to have a rock solid chin and one hell of a gas tank but the only way to beat Usyk is to close the gap, get on his toes and don't give him time to think.
