Rico seems like a cool guy. I’d like to see him box again.

 

This is quite literally the only Usyk fight I wont enjoy re-watching.

 

Inoue is finally pfp 1, not due to anything he accomplished.

"Verhoeven II or Kabayel" is a real Scylla or Charybdis situation for the aging Usyk.

 

What are the punch stats. Anyone have them handy?

 

You can give him credit for that, but the fight still shouldn't have been stopped at that point, especially as Rico had DOMINATED until that point.

Usyk looked awful though. Combination of age finally catching up to him and clearly not taking fight seriously proved almost disastrous against Rico, who was brilliantly awkward.

 

No. Usyk obviously was having some trouble in there. Too heavy and he's old as ****. But everyone acting like he was losing every round was insanity.

 

Boxing in 2026 everybody. Turki is pissed even he knows it was rigged.

 

Boxing embarrassed once again. Deserved for Usyk though for not taking actual mandatories like Kabayel.

 

To be fair, a rematch is warranted here. Rico arguably was winning, and the stoppage was quite controversial.

 

It should be his last. Kabayel can do what Rico can do but way better.
