They will blame age .. but the opponent was just two years younger and this was his second boxing fight.

I think the GOAT discussions are over after this night.

People can't call Fury and Joshua bums when these are Usyk's only HW wins besides Dubois and Chisora.

    Usyk should probably retire.

Hes clearly been the best fighter of his generation, but age will always catch up.

Usyks now lost like 40 rounds at HW in 9 fights.

    GOAT.

First Fury-Ngannou, and now Usyk-Rico. Is it nerves and pressure, or what?

It's not the age, he fought Dubois less than a year ago... It was mostly the excess weight IMO, making him too slow to land or defend properly. That and Rico being better than most thought.

He's not the goat in my opinion but he's the best of his class, he has clearly aged because it's clear to see that he's footwork amongst other skills have diminished. Out of curiosity who is your goat/best of this generation?

It's gotta be Inoue after this. 28-0 in title fights, been world class for 12 years, 4 division titlist, deeper resume, beat an actual top 10 P4Per in his prime (while Inoue is imo clerly past his prime himself by this point), actually cleaned out a division by beating everyone (122) as opposed to "cleaning it out" by beating 3 guys.

And didn't get saved by the ref vs a 1-0 kickboxer after losing almost every round
