I'm not sure how a undisputed heavyweight, cruiserweight and Olympic champion can be exposed, if so, what does that say about every opponent he has defeated? He looked poor probably for various complicated reasons. Credit needs to be given to Verhoeven who was much more interesting an opponent than we could have expected.

Chisora showed the blue print, yet AJ and Fury tried to outbox Usyk from the outside. Moronic. Rico had the perfect fight strategy, this was not that Usyk just suddenly aged over night. That's an excuse and not giving credit to what Rico did. You need to bully Usyk and impose yourself.

Agreed, but maybe it is just the level of the upper weights wasn't quite matching the hype of the last decade

Depending on what comes next. If Rico hangs around and wins a couple of big fights, it becomes a plus.

Canelo is 35. He's got 4 years before he gets exposed like Usyk. Let's wait and see! No excuses if it happens either!

Many of the fighters you deem "GOATS" were in the retirement home at Usyk's age, or should have been. Bowe, who didn't take on too many quality opponents barring ATG Holyfield who he soundly defeated, was finished at 29, not 39.

What was Ali doing at 34?

This is just naked opportunism. Obviously no fighter is competitive as a top level boxer forever, especially a fighter who depends on speed, reflexes, stamina and movement.

Underestimated, unknown quantities from other punching sports, who happen to be the best ever in their respective fields, who have been boxing and sparring high level pros for 10-15+ years, are not novices.

This just proves, finally, that his cruiserweight era was VERY weak, and that Fury and Joshua and Dubois were always awful at boxing, which in turn, exposes Wlad and his era.

Rico has been champion of his sport since 2015.
Maybe Usyk is fighting longer because he isn't fighting the same schedule as the old timers...

I don't think this reflects badly on Wlad, he kept a real champions schedule, fought all comers, then eventually lost. The problem was those changing of the guard fights were Fury and Joshua's biggest wins rather than somewhere to push on from

Usyk lost almost every round and got lucky on on a bs stoppage. He is a disgrace to boxing... and that is exactly what I said about Fury. Nobody is going to get special treatment with me.

They may've changed security guards at some point during those fights but I'm not sure that's relevant. If it distracted them, I get it but I don't know that it's an excuse.

And Wlad beat Chris Byrd who beat Evander Holyfield who beat Mike Tyson who beat Larry Holmes who beat Leon Spinks who beat Muhammad Ali! The exposing just keeps on going
