Majority of the sanctioning bodies is not a thing. Again, the fighters fight who they have to to get a ranking, and sometimes, they take fights that exclude them from being co-ranked. That is a thing you invented for your own confirmation bias.

Hammer was on a good run and was a top ten guy until the Fury fight.

Meh, his rematch against Lennox was maybe one of his best performances later on even in a loss. That was years removed from the Moorer rematch.

Fury and Joshua will never be considered great, this much can be agreed upon I feel.

If he fights for another three years he could possibly make a claim for that, his body of work whilst excellent considering his entry into the division, is not deep enough. He would need a few more credible threats to arise, he is not gonna get any better with him approaching 40, I don't think he really needs to add much more to be honest because he was a cruiser weight and became undisputed and is an Olympic champion, it is a lot to ask to stick around so long to become the heavyweight goat lol. I think undisputed heavyweight and cruiser weight and gold medalist is plenty as it is.

I hate to belabor this point because I am not so far off your position or my friend DynamicPuncher's, but do you really consider Lewis fight Holyfield the same as dynamo who fought Dokes and Bowe?

If Lewis were closer to 50 than almost 61, he might have fancied his chances at becoming undisputed again.

At this rate Tyson Fury (totally washed version) will end up with the belt soon. Funny how things can go in life.

What is your argument for Hammer being top 10?

What wins suggest such a ranking is warranted?

What evidence backs up that ranking?

I'm choosing to dispute his ranking so defend it.

A couple of good wins like Kevin Johnson and Leif Larsen.
