If we put Usyk from the Verhoeven fight against these heavies, he would lose:

Evander Holyfield 6'2 218lb
Lennox Lewis 6'5 250lb
Riddick Bowe 6'5 240lb
Mike Tyson 5'10 220lb

I know that Usyk didn't look in the best shape for this fight and is 40, which is why I said exclusively the form of him from today's match. But to me, the Verhoeven fight really increased my confidence in these fighters giving Usyk a hard fight if not a victory against the man.

Evander Holyfield: For most of the Verhoeven fight, although he was the bigger man he was smothering Usyk to the body and had him on the retreat some times, landed some good right hand shots. Now, imagine Holyfield who is not only sharper, but is a rougher, smaller, more tougher opponent that Verhoeven. It would be a war no doubt.
Lennox Lewis: Not only are Verhoeven and Lewis the same height and roughly the same weight, Lewis has a dynamite right hand and a powerful left hook, which as I mentioned before were key tools of Verhoeven's arsenal. Lewis was always the bigger man in almost every fight, apart from ther Grant and Klitschko fight, so he already knows how to manage the distance and when to pop the right hand. Altough Lewis isn't the figher to play roughhouse on the inside with the smaller man, he can brawl and actually mill when needed to, as shown in the Bruno and Klitschko fight.
Riddick Bowe: This would be the most dangerous fight of all these 4 fighters, and it's because Riddick Bowe is essentially a combination of both Holyfield and Lewis: the physical dimensions and a jab like Lennox Lewis, and the inside game, roughhouse and willingness to stand and bang of Evander Holyfield. And unlike Verhoeven, Bowe wouldn't just stand there waving his hands around.
Mike Tyson: Oleksandr Usyk was the smaller fighter in all of his heavyweight fights but the Derek Chisora bout. Early on, Chisora was smothering and bothering him, and landed more power punches than Usyk. And Tyson is no Chisora, he doesn't switch stances mid punch and weighs in at 270 to fight a 220 Wilder, and Mike is the more conditioned and faster figher. One judge had Usyk-Chisora 115-113 already, which could say alot if Tyson were to step in with Usyk

 

Because Lewis and Tyson retired before 40, Riddick returned at 40, and Holyfield was fighting for too long at 40. Usyk was 26 when he turned pro, Tyson was in lockup at 26, was already former undisputed heavy champ, Lewis was champ at 26, Holyfield was undisputed cruiserweight champ at 26, moving up in weight, and Bowe had already rematched Holyfield at 26

 

Usyk can fight at 40 because he didn't spend his early years as a pro fighter. Tyson started at 18, Holyfield at 21, Lewis at 23 and Bowe at 21. Tyson was 25-0 in one year, Holyfield was 25-0 in five, Lewis was 25-0 in five too, Bowe was 25-0 in two, and Ali was 25-0 in 6. It took Usyk 13 years to get to 25-0. Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis have fought more rounds than Usyk in 59 bouts compared to Usyk's 25. Holyfield's gone twice the amount of Tyson and Lewis.
