Not Usyk's best night. And, on a historical level, his stock should probably slip a bit. (As should Fury's) But, he did find a way to win, and he is still probably the best heavyweight in this dreadful era.

Why? How about give Rico the credit he deserves? You understand the sport, you understand what you saw today. Rico's feinting, footwork, upper body movement and herky jerky rhythm that he was setting, made him incredibly hard to time. Then add in his quality high guard defense. He put on a pressure fighting masterclass. Many heavyweights would serve themselves well studying exactly what he did. Rico did the proper research knows that pressure fighters give him problems, and he came fully prepared with a constantly evolving nightmare style designed solely to beat Usyk. Yet he still failed.

Jimmy Young is a boxer, a great one at that. Young doesn't lose a round to Verhoeven.

Dude, stfu. You’re trying to be a boxing snob and you’re just showing yourself to be a perpetrator. Verhoeven is a mountain of man with a lot of physical ability that fought a technically great fight. There’s no boxing king fu here that only you can see. Stop it, you sound stupid.

Usyk undoubtedly remains the best fighter of this era in the heavyweight division, I think Usyk didn't prepare at all for this fight because he was sure he would win easily...

I am not a Bert Sugar; Verhoeven fights like a boxer from the 1800s. Dubois stops him.

his trainers must be crap, he hasnt progressed at all. that shot that caught him should not be catching a fighter at this level, but he just offered it up.

So it's stupid for someone to think Jimmy Young would comfortably outbox awkward Verhoeven when Rico hasn't beaten anyone of note and has only had 2 professional boxing fights ? The idiocracy has reached dangerous levels and there is only 1 fanbase to blame. Usyk cockswingers

Put Verhoeven in with any other top heavyweight and he gets absolutely outclassed or flattened within 3 or 4 rounds just like Ngannou.

Someone like Ajagba would murder Rico in 6 rounds. Kabayel would smash him to bits. Itauma would blast him to smithereens. Hrgovic would turn him into an art canvas. Jai Opetaia would massacre him

    Sure, bud.

When you want to prove this vast knowledge of yours by using some facts/evidence instead of using one silly crossover fight to justify your opinions, I'll be here.
