    This’ll be another Ngannou situation.

One of the big reasons they were able to have so much success in their first big boxing fights was due to the element of the unknown from the perspective of their opponents, they had absolutely nothing to go off, and being able to watch your opponent really does help a hell of lot for you to understand their rhythm, timing etc.

Also, the pair were coming off of great form in their respective sports and were likely very motivated for the new challenge.

If Verhoeven fights a Dubois, Wardley, Kabayel or even Joshua, I believe he will get wiped out because people now know how he reacts to certain punches or feints, how he shapes up, how he moves, his rhythm etc, and I do believe his defence is there to be exposed.

He bull rushes in, leaning forward, doesn’t really bring his feet with him, doesn’t control the lead hand battle well. There were endless times where Usyk had clearly measured him up for the left hand, yet he just wouldn’t let it go, and even on top of that, he was presenting so many opportunities

He was there for the left the whole time, and when he leaned forward with his hands up, he was there for the left to the body, Usyk should have just thrown it and mixed it up head and body to establish control, but he just didn’t do it, likely due to the element of the unknown going into the fight, and after the first few rounds, he just couldn’t get going.

Yes because that's what happened to Ngannou right? Spare me! Casuals really are exposing themselves today.

Yes, they need to put him in with someone like Ajagba, a relatively unknown heavyweight who actually has decent fundamentals and KO power.

Ajagba or literally any top 15 heavyweight with some pop would absolutely tear through Rico and this idea that Rico is actually a top heavyweight will be put to rest, Ngannou style.

Because it's finally dawned on you that a fighter can take a loss and that doesn't mean that fighter is immediately a bum. Like how you wrote off Sanchez after Agit ripped his guts out. Then you jumped on the Torrez bandwagon which blew up in your face. So now it's back onto the Sanchez bandwagon and you've reevaluated his win over Ajagba. You also realized by hyping the win over Efe, after you've been bashing him for years, that that makes Sanchez look good.

Its a case by case matchup imo. He would lose some beat some.

If you dont think he can compete with Fury, Wilder, Torres and a few others... eh, idk. Seems obvious he can, imo. Fury couldnt even beat Ngannou cleanly.

As for AJ, people dont even know what AJ has left right now, confidently picking him over Rico seems a stretch imo.

You have schizophrenia and you're seeing things that aren't really there. I would favor Ajagba to beat Sanchez in a rematch due to his improved jab and footwork, I've been high on Ajagba ever since he went on that unbeaten streak

quite possibly. i would have kept telling usyk to keep throwing the uppercut, presicely because of what you described. it was a gimme shot given how rico leans in. thats why i said on another post that usyk was not doing the things he should have been doing. i do think ricos hand speed and awkward timing will give a lot of hw real trouble, mainly because they arent that good either.

No you have schizophrenia. You cannot just claim your view as fact when in fact you could not be more wrong. All you have to do is search up my post history on ajagba

You think I am hyping up Sanchez when I have not even mentioned the guy in the post you replied to. You can keep your preconceived bull**** on your coat hanger

Since I like you I'll be nice. How about give Rico the credit he deserves? You understand the sport, you understand what you saw today. Rico's feinting, footwork, constant adjustments, upper body movement and herky jerky rhythm that he was setting, made him incredibly hard to time. Then add in his quality high guard defense. He put on a pressure fighting masterclass. Many heavyweights would serve themselves well studying exactly what he did. Rico did the proper research knows that pressure fighters give him problems, and he came fully prepared with a constantly evolving nightmare style designed solely to beat Usyk. Now, if he could do that with the most skilled heavyweight on the planet, what the hell do you think he could do to the rest of the far less skilled populating the division?

The only one schizophrenic is you, the way you hop from fighter to fighter, probably even makes your head spin.
