Is Holyfield a bum because at 46 and well past his prime he beat Nikolai Valuev fair and square? Usyk couldn’t do the same with a 1-0 knickerbocker.
Of course they weren't trash, my point is, boxing evolves. The fighters of the past displayed grit and courage beyond what we see mostly today but that is because that was the way it was back then. It was more brutal. The fact remains, that fighters evolve, and are bigger and better than they were back then.
