And who's to say you are correct and the majority of fans are wrong? Please don't say the judges FFS.

And I had it close but that's besides the point, Rico gave Usyk fits who looked all at sea all fight.

I'll say it again, this was embarrassing for Usyk, no doubt about that.

What are you arguing with me about then?

To a reasonable fan that understood what he was watching, it's not embarrassing. Styles make fights, Rico understood that and planned immaculately!

All time greats are allowed to age overnight and it’s cliche but Father Time is undefeated. I’ve posted elsewhere that Usyk looked soft physically and that the normal foot feints, level changes, active guard and movement from the waist was vastly diminished.. even his signature angle exits were reduced to straight lines BUT a box he did tick was coming from behind on his absolute worst night, biting down and forcing a stoppage (when that’s against his entire style). I hope he looks back, like Lennox after Vitali and realises the mileage is now on the clock. Last night he did what an ATG does.

I'm arguing against your point that this is no real slight against Usyk.

It's a massive embarrassment for him, it's not even a debate.

which is why the stoppage is even worse

quick stoppage in a fight where someone is losing every round is one thing

    not this fight, horrific stoppage

I'm really not sure why fans are surprised that some of these cross over fights are competitive?

The boxers aren't just facing someone who walked off the street that trained for a few weeks. They are facing another trained athlete. One who has trained for cardio and endurance. One who has been in combat sports before. One who is used to being hit hard. One who has also trained in boxing for years. One who is at the top of his game in his discipline

Of course they can potentially win with the above and of course be very competitive

Yeah, a bull**** stoppage at the end of the day, but that's another debate.

Yeah similar boat here, I am a HUGE Usyk fan but man that was bad, people will not view him the same way again and that is very disappointing

Nah like the clowns who had the fight a draw after 10. At least Coppinger had the right fighter winning. The vast majority of the boxing world agrees with his card, and only gave Usyk 2-3 rounds.

Anyone who knows boxing knows the judges heavily favor the A side, especially in this situation vs a kick boxer, yet even with that bias they still had it even. In reality Rico dominated.
