This is all AJ's fault! His loser-ness has rubbed off on our Golden Ukrainian God! /s

If he fights on, he will likely lose to Kabayel and Itauma, and maybe even Rico if he fights him again. While it would definitely make his heavyweight ranking more realistic overall if he did notch up a few losses, he is a legend of the sport and has nothing left to prove. Nobody wants to see an icon get old, but I've been saying for about 18 months now that Usyk is going to go on too long; we're witnessing it in real time now. He should retire, and I hope he does, but I doubt he will.

Rematch Rico to put this controversy to bed and then retire. Kabayel likely beats him now.

If there was ever a high peak to finish on logically it was the Dubois 2 fight. If you stick around in boxing, curveballs always happen given the unpredictable nature of the sport, especially if a fighter is beginning to go on the slide. There didn’t seem much out there that was particularly challenging for him anymore apart from a good contender in Kabayel and the fearsome but green Itauma. Then he randomly is put in with a kickboxer who it turns out isn’t canon fodder and quite capable and we get a new direction to watch and new questions to ask.

I think he's in better shape than the Verhoeven performance...

I preferred he retire before the Dubois rematch but he went and got the KO anyway and it would have been perfect time there.

Its just the money making and building his business/post fight career from here on. Too hard to quit

I FEEL that he should rematch Rico, correct that situation by training like it’s the last professional fight of his life… and make that a reality by retiring after he stops Rico spectacularly. He needs to hang em up because he’s ****ing CONQUERED the sport of boxing already. Nothing more to prove. Plus he’s obviously slowed down. Big time.

Plus Oleksandr needs to be with his family and protect them during these difficult times back home. Agit can square off against Fury for the vacant title! And yes… those two will absolutely fight if Turki puts enough bread on the table. lol :D
