    Usyk should hang them up

Usyk should accept he is on the slide now and just take the money fight with Fury who is halfway down said slide.

Fury does have a very exciting prospect for equal money fighting AJ but I think he'd still take a Usyk trilogy first...

Netflix will want the AJ fight though

Great video Rummy. Usyk should just hang them up imo, but if he wants to fight on he needs to start taking care of mandatories. Leaves some interesting options for Rico in the meantime...

The Usyk that turned up against Dubois II still beats Kabayel IMO.

The big question is whether that Usyk can show up in 6 months or not? Did Usyk take camp a bit too easy and overlook Rico? Did he - as some have speculated - take this fight to see how much he has left before committing to a potential loss fight?

Will be interesting to see what transpires.

Honestly I think the result today makes a Fury fight even less likely. A rematch and Kabayel are ahead of it, plus Itauma, and maybe belt mandatories. Kind of ironic that Fury dragged out taking on Usyk with a whole bunch of conditions and delays, but things have flipped. The only way a Fury fight happens is if Usyk wants to bow out with it IMO.

I'd much rather see any of the above if he fights on, most others maybe feel similar on it.

No, Usyk will drop his belts and target Wilder and Fury, or a Verhoeven rematch. He's looking for money at this age

Nobody will respect Usyk if he doesn't take the rematch with Rico before any other fights.

It was a BS stoppage, Usyk needs to clear his name before fighting Kabayel.

Kabayel would be the best option for Usyk if he stays on. But, I think Usyk should retire.

Fight Wilder, the last major champion of the era he hasn't faced yet, and then call it a career. Based on what I saw in the post-interviews, sounds like Turki has some say over who Usyk fights next. When asked, he said he would talk to his team and then to Turki.

Usyk will lose tons of respect if he doesn't face Kabayel.

If Usyk rematches (and presumably defeats) Rico, and then faces Kabayel... fine.

But if Usyk rematches Rico ... and decides he doesn't want Kabayel, then he should just retire. Because if he fights again after Rico and it's not Kabayel, that'll be seen as a total BS duck that tarnishes his legacy.

The only wild card is whether Kabayel gets a shot at Dubois' belt while he's waiting on an Usyk-Rico rematch ... or just takes a relatively easy tune-up to stay active.

I totally agree. First Rico rematch then Kabayel.

I disagree. Most boxing fans feel for Kabayel's plight.

Kabayel then Rico, in my opinion.

Kabayel has been waiting awhile, and he actually earnt his shot, so he should get the fight next.

Also, from Usyk's perspective, Kabayel first makes more sense. Kabayel will be a tougher fight than Rico. Usyk's abilities are only decreasing at his age. Don't wait another year to fight Kabayel. Get the tougher fight out of the way first, then come in lighter against Rico and put on a better performance.

I do wonder if Usyk has a real exit strategy, and even if he does, if he would stick to it. Definitely curious to see what Rico does next assuming Usyk does defend against Kabayel next.
