It absolutely is. I would strongly advise every top fighter from the former Soviet Union to not even contemplate fighting their US counterparts over in the US. You'd have to be a complete moron to do so after seeing how many times other Soviet brothers have been robbed over there in these ''close fights that could go either way'' but someone almost always go one way

Shocked. He's been sending mixed signals for years.

You must be new to boxing. There is a thing called a weigh in where fighters must both weigh in under the same weight limit. That is the point of boxing divisions. You are spewing one of the most ridiculous narratives in the history of boxing, that has weirdly become a thing in recent years only. Nobody made such excuses back in the day. As long as you make the weight limit, it's a fair fight.

PS. You know that 'blown up jnr middleweight that David fought? He weighed in heavier than David.

I fear you haven't really read my comment past the first few lines. Because i do think the same.

I didn't make an excuse for Alvarez. He can fight whoever he wants to, if he doesn't hold all the belts and acts like he is the best super middle of the world.

But it is a fact that he went up and was thus small for the weight and benavidez had trouble making the weight. It's like when roy jones went to heavyweight and fought ruiz, not tyson.

Noone in their right mind would demand of jones to fight tyson, unless jones had all the belts and acted like he was the best heavyweight of the world.

That to me is what canelo did

How was he too small for the weight when he became undisputed and fought there for 6 years? How did David have trouble making the weight when he came 1lb under his last two fights? When did Canelo last come in 1lb under?
