Spence vs Tszyu in Australia on July 25th

I think Spence is gonna win

 

I think Spence is completely finished, 3 years out after looking so lost against Crawford, and going all the way to Australia to fight Tim. I don't think anyone can doubt Spence's heart, but this is a bad idea on multiple fronts. He's also moving up to fight the bigger, fresher fighter in his home country. Both had small windows where they looked like they could be the top of 147 and 154, respectively, but they're both pretty far off the elite at 154. I think Spence has more miles on the clock, and I'm not sure why he's the favourite going. If I were a betting man, I'd back Tszyu for the win here.

Tim had to question Pedro Diaz leadership so he moved to Def con 4 and hired Jeff Fenech. Spence did the same with Derrick James he moved to Def con 4 and hired Ronnie Shields @WhataRock

 

I thought I saw Tim mouth the words "next time you come in heavy or not at all" to Spence at the press conference.

I've always had the impression Spence was good with his money
So I don't think it's a cash grab

I think he would only come back if he was truly confident he could win the fight

That and his pedigree is a level above

However I just ant think he s the same.In 2022 or 2023 I would go with ES.
In 2026 .....I think he s done and doesnt know it yet.
But he does have Ronnie Sheilds in his corner,might spring a wizard move.

 

Its tough. Hes been out for what feels like a lifetime. Three fights in, what, 7 years?!?@?@? That's insane. So he'll have his 4th fight in past 7 years following a painfully bad stoppage loss in his last fight ~3yrs ago.

AFter the way he lost to TC, and his inactivity. Can't see him winning at all. Hoping he puts in a good show at the very least.

 

I fancy Spence's chances. Tim is a very good style match-up for Spence but the question marks around his ring rust, his durability, and his psychological confidence do have me wondering how old he'll look. I think it's more interesting for the sport if Spence isn't washed is what I will say.

 

Spence is a spent force. So is Tszyu. But he's active so he'll win. But both these guys are finished.
