Had Rico not been given 29-30 seconds to recover, yeah I'm EXTREMELY confident Usyk knocks him out or absolutely senseless even if he only has 5 seconds more. I know Rico is tough. I know he has a huge heart and has come back and won numerous times after being dropped and badly but that wasn't after of 11 rounds of constant movement with a rampaging Usyk on him unleashing vicious combos and landing almost at will whilst he was badly hurt, fatigued and unable to defend himself.

I guess Rico fans will keep crying till the rematch and he's knocked out .. He was not supposed to have 30+ seconds to recover on a 10-second countdown!! He was over right there !!!Rico is a beast, but he didn't win this fight ... he didn't even know where to go when he got his mouth guard back !!! Yes Usyk looked poor but how do u prep for that? A 6'5 250lb Glory champion with a mish mash style never really seen before? He's hardly a novice hes been striking since he was a kid.. Rico was spent & being used as a pinata by that point.. In a kickboxing fight with Rico Usyk wouldn't last a round, but here i think the hysteria is way over the top.. Usyk does what great champions do they adapt & find something..

Corrales wasn't supposed to have double the time on two counts but he thought taking the mouthpiece out on both knockdowns was worth exchanging the point for a chance to stick in the fight. He knocked Castillo out in the following sequence. If Verhoeven hadn't taken his guard out or taken a knee when he was hurt people would say he was being naive or stupid. He almost survived the round, he would've been stopped if he didn't take desperate measures to buy time. Thus we get the controversial stoppage because he looked like he could've seen the 12th. Usyk likely would've swarmed him anyway, he's lethal down the stretch and knew he needed to at least get him down again. I don't know why people are acting as if it was some secret that he got a long time to recover, fighters have done it before and sometimes it's paid off.

I knew someone would say that. I judge someone on who they are now, not by their past. People make mistakes and can change, he even mentioned it in the video. Granted, I don't know what he's like behind closed doors, but he always comes across really well, unlike his attention-seeking thug of a brother.

    Why, because you didn't agree?

Did you do a different punch count?

Don't think believing in the propagandised version of 9/11 is the flex you think it is. The moon landing, deary me.

I’m not going through and counting every punch, and fights aren’t meant to be scored frame by frame anyway. Rico was clearly up that’s all I know and judging by most people that seems about right.

I see plenty of people disagreeing, but I intend to rewatch it this weekend. In any even, the judges had it even into eleven, and Usyk close dthe show after almost being robbed by the extra time.

Well...no. The ref's poor officiating went both ways, and gave Rico significant recovery time he should not have had. What you are saying is manifestly not true.

Even if the ref didn’t give Rico time to put in his mouth piece Usyk still only had 9 seconds left to finish the fight. The ref stopped the timer for Rico to get his mouth guard. Usyk would not have knocked him out cold in 9 seconds even if Rico wasn’t allowed time to get his mouth guard.

Lyson was ready to step in once Usyk unloaded that first barrage before the bell. He had his mind made up after the brutal knockdown and the wobbly walk to the corner from Rico. Reasonable stoppage. The outcry comes from the underdog almost doing the unthinkable.
