What Bivol did to Beterbiev does not sit right with me

He wasted the last relevant years of a mans career who already had scarce number of fights. Beterbiev had no obligation to give Bivol a instant rematch did so anyway and Bivol not only didn't reciprocate he decided to be a snake.

    I'm not happy about this:(

Bivol has been moving funny for years yet seems immune to criticism. Aged out Beterbiev, dropped the belt to Benavidez, dodging the trilogy and fighting cans. Anyone else would be cooked. I bet he fights Callum Smith next.

Yeah as the months go by it's like "what the **** man".

Everyone else in the division is younger so I guess it doesn't really matter and his games are liable to backfire on him but Beterbiev got screwed over. He was like 39 when this all started.

Beterbiev himself is always pushing back fights due to injury. It's kind of amazing the rematch happened so soon after the first fight.

I don't think it ends differently, Bivol will tire out Beterbiev again.

Bivol underwent serious surgery, he may not be the same now. He could not rematch Beterbiev late last year or early this year.

If all goes well on Saturday, I expect he will rematch Beterbiev later this year.

However, I'd like to see Beterbiev and Bivol both face other opponents - there are many interesting matchups that could be made at light heavyweight.

He should be better now which is the point of the surgery to fix niggling back pain.

If he fights Beterbiev and then Benavidez after his fight with Eifert, then I don't see what the big deal is. I would have liked to see Beterbiev again right away, but the roadblocks seem pretty legitimate to me. We'll see in time if he rises to the challenge or not.

The Bivol v Beterbiev could have happened 7 years before it did and any time in between then,we all know that,in that same time frame Beterbiev was hunting all the other belts whilst at the same time Hearn was instrumental in making sure Beterbiev fought all his mandatory’s for each belt he held, whilst his own charge Bivol fought a single mandatory in the same time frame 1 mandatory defence in 7 years ! Bivol has since the rematch also gave up the WBC belt to avoid Benavidez his mandatory . Let’s see if he ever does take the Benavidez fight .
