Don't know Fitz's age here but the man always looks old and fragile. Looks can be incredibly deceiving
This was at a benefit for Jem Mace in London, May 1909. Jeanette was 29 years old and at the pinnacle of his career, coming off his epic win against Sam McVey for the colored heavyweight title. No real info on how it went. The closest I've seen to a description is that it was "fast enough to awaken the big crowd to an enthusiastic pitch."
