    Eifert actually putting up a bit more of a fight that round. I'd gotten my hopes up in R1 for that rare early dust-off by the exceedingly methodical Bivol....

    It is fine to look boring against top tier contender but for guys like Eiffert you have to be able to finish them. Or put a beating on them where the ref steps in. This "let me do enough" to win the round is god awful. Yes he's won every round but in no round outside of rnd 1 was it exciting or a domination. He is just landing more.

    Really says a lot about how good Beterbiev is to be able to run Bivol close both times. It’s gonna take someone really special to be able to be competitive with Bivol, let alone beat him.

    Imagine if Bivol had Inoue’s offensive mindset to go along with his impeccable skills and defense.

    I appreciate Bivol a lot but he really can be monotonous to watch at times. There’s really no reason for him to go on cruise control against an opponent like this.
