Dillian Whyte v Johnny Fisher possibly this year

Haha would actually like to see it. Every chance Fisher could chin him given how completely shot Whyte looked against Itauma.

 

This would be peak car crash entertainment; if there is still a semblance of life in the shell that is current day Dillian Whyte then surely he should stop Fisher, but who knows?

Bosh Jnr needs learning fights, and lots of them, not this. Unless he overwhelms Whyte early - which is possible given Dillian looks shot and how Johnny took out Babic, the longer it goes the more comfortable it gets for Whyte and uncomfortable for Fisher, and the likelihood he gets Boshed again increases, bit like Price post-Thompson back in the day.

Reality is Fisher has had one fight in around a year, almost got chinned again, and is probably already regressing due to lack of activity. Could see it on a Joshua undercard though. Given what Whyte has made from the sport, he should’ve probably called it quits after Moses and rested comfortably on his pile of loot.

 

This would be more fun if they stuck in Alen Babic to represent some other promoter and do a triple threat. He'd probably knock himself out though.

It's funny how there's basically a "championshp" level of heavyweights now, it's not even the old school ladder through regional, country, titles and so on - it's just well known has-beens padding out cards. You could probably stick Verhoeven in against any of them.

 

Babic has announced his impending return now you mention him. He blamed his defeats on a CNS problem which he claims is now fixed. Wouldn’t shock me if he goes on a run of knocking out some cab drivers to build up to a final fight for Dave Allen where he can go out on a high with a round one KO.

I'd still back Dillian Whyte to stop him.

 

Whyte has far too much experience for fisher. At one point in time I had him down as the best HW in Britain, it's a travesty that he never won a proper world title or even got the AJ rematch

 

He turned down the AJ rematch at Wembley in 2019. Also turned down multiple final eliminators.

 

Never saw this coming, however it’s actually a fight that makes sence.

Surely fisher is the favourite, Whyte has zero resistance now and is well past it...I barely see him at British level now

Local and a gentleman when seen but I gotta admit I still don't see him beating Whyte
