Frank Warren said it definitely will not be Andy Ruiz. I am thinking Nelson Hysa. He can say that AJ was afraid to take on the #1 Albanian heavy.

Imo Nelson Hysa and Guido Vianello are in the running to get the Fury fight, or someone around that top 20-30ish calibre. Or they could do the same thing Eddie did, and go scour BoxRec further down on the list and pick out a totally unknown Prenga-type opponent

Put it this way, he won’t be fighting anybody that could possibly jeopardise the fight with Joshua !

Nelson Hysa i think so too, he’s a big man, big puncher and he’s undefeated that’s a fairly easy sell.

Up there in age too and poses no real threat to Fury, he’d like that, ideal second tune-up before Joshua.

There were some that thought Big Mahk could upset him funnily enough.

I'm not too fussed on what the second tune up is gonna be, it'll be pretty hard to find a worse one than whoever AJ is fighting in any case.

I am sad it wasn't Dubios though, he's ripe for the picking atm.

Fury said he won't fight Dubois. If he fights on after Joshua, I think it's the senior's tour.

Is Luis Ortiz a possibility? A southpaw like Usyk, a name, and maybe a little on the safe side since he is somewhere between 47 and 74 years old.

If it's not going to be Ruiz, then probably Miller. They're supposed to announce whoever it's going to be soon.

I think the idea is that it will not be anyone of that caliber.

Wouldn't make sense. He's preparing for AJ not a southpaw, so he'll likely go for a big plodder similar to Mahkmudov.

I watched something where it was said that he wasn't interested in facing Dubois or Wardley.
He wouldn't be facing Kabayel or Parker i don't think due to being friends.
I read on here that it won't be Ruiz and I doubt it would be Miller as it seems like they are friendly
I don't think it would be Itauma due to what has been said about boxing being a young man's game

When Fury fought Wladimir, he had 2 lesser fights before facing Wilder. After facing Wilder he had 2 lesser fights. Before Usyk he had 2 lesser fights. I'm guessing he is having 2 prep fights before Joshua

I think everything is being prepared for the Joshua fight and I don't think he would want to take a risky fight like Dubois even though there would be a world title on the line

The only thing that might make a difference is that if Fury beat Dubois, he could have a world title and would then I think without debate be the A side against Joshua

Fury will find a worse opponent, he always does.
