Martin Bakole is looking for a fight. Torrez Jr. perhaps?

Probably would be, but we know it won't happen as AJ has at least 2 fights already signed. Plus what AJ's recent fights have to do with the topic? The guy is totally in love with AJ and can't stop posting about him, it's hilarious. Fanboy mentality.

Honestly, this would not be a bad matchup. Bakole has looked pretty awful in his last few fights, so, Torrez might be able to win this. If Torrez wins, it will really help him regain some confidence. If Torrez gets stopped again, it will definitively let him know it is time to hang them up.

Idk about you but I'd have rather seen Bakole v AJ instead of the other fella.

Also, short of AJ retiring I don't see any reason why a fight with Bakole couldn't be made post Fury. I think AJ loses that one, and Bakole would be a good way to keep going if he chose to.

Well, I'd rather see that fight too. And I'm not so sure AJ wins this.

Yes Sanchez exposed Torrez Jr's chin, but there is a big difference between Bakole and Sanchez; the latter is an educated boxer, always turns up in shape, and has good handspeed for a heavyweight, hence how he was able to find Torrez Jr's chin with a shot he never saw coming. On the other hand Bakole is a fat slob, with lead feet, who routinely shows up in appalling shape expecting his power to bail him out. Most likely Torrez would dance around Bakole toward a decision win.

Bakole burst the hype bubble of this generation's big US HW hope Anderson so why would they throw the US's other one in there with him when he's coming off his own hype bursting KO loss at the hands Sanchez?

Bakole might not have looked good in his last 2 fights but he's massive, hits very hard, has nasty uppercuts, and Torrez is a small HW, is chinny, and is coming off a KO loss. They shouldn't even contemplate putting him in with a puncher when he's coming off a devastating KO loss

Torrez needs to go back to the fundamental. Putting him in with guys to swing wildly again won't do any good. Hell Bakole may just end up knocking him out cold.

The most reasonable take here. He's got years ahead of him to get back into the mix.

Putting Torrez in with a good puncher is the Last thing he needs
