For fun, imagine a young Clay/Ali in the modern era with social media. And rap music. He’d be even bigger than he was.

It's impossible to know for sure. What if Ali had been permitted to fight in 1968 and 1969? It's better to just respect both equally.

The greatest of all time, a man who transcended boxing and sport as a whole, we will never see anything like him again. I can't believe it has been a decade since he left. Fly high champ.

IMO Usyk is the greatest. Undefeated and more humble than Ali. A truly great man would never call himself “The Greatest”, he would let other people say that about him. Usyk never calls himself great, and that’s exactly why he is the greatest to me.

Ali was playing a character to help promote his fights. There are plenty of accounts of this. One by Ken Norton who said that before their press conference for their first fight, Ali was being friendly with him and told him that he was going to say some **** when the cameras turned on. The cameras turned on, Ali did his thing, and Norton just laughed to himself. Norton said he was never mad about anything Ali said, said he understood that Ali doing his schtick was the reason he made so much money for fighting Ali.
