Two great fighters in a battle with the championship rounds.
    1990 version Holyfield
    1973 version Norton
    George Foreman referee..

I would gamble on Holyfield via SD. I think he would throw more punches in the long run. I don't think he'd stop Norton, but he edges it via a little bit more activity

I would favor Holyfield just because of the better chin

    Why?
If they continue to fight after the bell (like Holyfield vs. Bowe 2), have Foreman "explain" the rules to them?

Ken Norton would win a decision. Better jab, better Defense, more power, better body punching, equal speed, longer height and reach. The only real advantages Holyfield had was chin, combinations, and maybe footwork. Ali was better in all these aspects than evander and he still massively struggled against Norton.

Yes, because Ken's style was a great foil for Ali. We can not compare Holyfield's style to Ali's in any way. I suspect Holyfield figures away through that crab like cross arm herky jerky guard of Ken's and pummels his arms, chest, neck, head, anything he can lay a glove on. I think Evanders output eventually suffocates Ken and he wins in an action packed fight with myriad punches thrown, neither man truly hurt until Ken's guard finally falls apart like an oyster opening and Holyfield takes his pearl with an unanswered barrage around round 11. This fight isnt about power, its about engine and control and Holyfield has the mental and phsyical engine to exert control over Kenny from about round 6 onwards. Fight might be finely balanced until the end but when Kenny capitulates its suddenly and completely...

Ken Norton threw 543 punches in the first fight with Ali, 635 in the third fight. He has equal or better output than Holyfield, so even in a battle of engines, Holyfield doesn’t have an advantage.

Holyfield has too much of a speed advantage. He'll fight on equal terms with Norton until he pulls out a sudden KO stoppage punch.

Norton had a brilliant engine but I think it fades under the constant, smothering pressure Holyfield brings. Ken could fight at a great pace for sure and while his engine matches Evander's, I suspect Evander's lasts the race and Ken's throws a rod on the last lap!!

George gets mad and knocks them both out.
No I think prime Holyfield wipes the floor with Norton.
Holyfield is more skilled quicker just as strong and powerful and tougher mentally
8th round TKO win for Holyfield.

Holyfield wins a tough decision K3nnys cross guard is going to get bypassed by sheer volume of combinations

I don’t really follow. Constant, smothering was more Norton’s style. Compare a past prime Norton’s performance against a prime Larry Holmes vs a prime evander against a 40 year old Larry. We’re talking about a guy who’s entire style is pressure fighting against an aggressive counter puncher who doesn’t really punch any harder mu
