Chris Billam-Smith vs. Ryan Rozicki & Jack Massey vs. Cheavon Clarke RBR.

This is strange - both men seem to be telegraphing their punches but not defending what's coming at them.

 

I didn’t bother staying up to see the Lerrone Richards fight midweek but the consensus amongst the boxing public was that it was a disgraceful robbery.

But the world forum lads had Ramirez winning on the RBR lol.

 

Brit ref so obviously an egregious stoppage for the spacers over there.

 

If the world forum likes a boxer he's unbeatable so everything that goes against him is corruption,.

 

Rozicki has a chin I’ll give him that. This is an easy fight for CBS if he creates a bit of space and boxes. It seems so easy for CBS to time him. He timed him with two massive right hands there which were long af.

 

The world forum also hates all Europeans. You’d think Lomachenko was a journeyman the way they go on about him.

Shite that tattood fella. At the same time Billiam Smith had to be good then as crude as the opponent was he made him work every second and was game as **** with a crazy chin. I thought Billiam Smith did brilliantly dealing with it, countered very well, firing back off the ropes he had to be very careful but he won every round for me. Great performance.

 

Decent performance but he made it much harder than it could have been. I got the feeling throughout the card that all fighters were ultra aggressive because they wanted to impress Dana White in person. Very apparent with the lad that McKenna knocked out.

It was a very entertaining card and that Japanese lady ref in the McKenna fight was one of the better referees I’ve seen in a British boxing ring for a long time.

 

I'd like to see a rematch of this fight given the way it ended so that we have a conclusive result and winner.

Proper slugfest.

 

Billam Smith should look back and see that he fought totally the wrong fight. He got dragged into a brawl and that's not his style; if he'd boxed clever he'd have won that at a stroll.
