   After the 2nd fight where he was knocked unconscious for 10 minutes by Floyd Patterson. After he was struck down, you can see his foot twitching, which is indicative of a traumatic brain injury. Had he been knocked out like that in 2026 instead of 1960, that likely would be considered a career ending knockout punch.

   Fernando Montiel's foot was twitching in a similar way vs Nonito Donaire and not only was he permitted to continue with his career, he was allowed to continue in the same bout.
