Is there someone who you would favor to beat Willie Pep at FW?
Who do you consider better than him in terms of technical abilities and in general as a boxer in that weight class?

    This X3 (out of four).

    All by stoppage no less.

I always wonder about Freddie Miller. A natural born winner, he has 200 victories and as for class he buried about as many top ten contenders as anyone in the division, with an extraordinary number drawn from the top five. He had workrate, pinpoint accuracy, was impossible to discourage with counters (two TKO losses only as stoppages, one in his first fight, one in his last) and extremely aggressive. Of course, it's hard to be sure, but I just get the feeling he would have been a bit nighmarish for Pep.

    Hi Buddy.
As a boxer, then no one, and nearly the same for technical abilities, but as we know he can be manhandled by a taller, bigger, roughhouse fighter, that pays no abeyance to the rules, step forward Pedroza, pretty much anything Saddler would do, I feel Pedroza could duplicate, Pep,s face seemed to mark up easily, seen lots of pics with his countenance swollen and bruised, not saying Eusebio would be able to KO, or even stop Pep, who had a good chin at FW, but the aforementioned marking up, might cause a caring ref to step in, so yea Pedroza would be a handful for Pep, and almost all of the greats.
    stay safe Flavius, chat soon.
    Mike.

Good points, but I don't think Pedroza carried quite the power Saddler did.In passing I always thought Pedroza was at least as good as Sanchez was,and I would have picked him to beat him.
