Chris Billam-Smith vs. Ryan Rozicki & Jack Massey vs. Cheavon Clarke RBR.

Great fight.

CBS made it harder than it should have been but Rosicki’s chin held up incredibly well.

Good stoppage too.

 

Don’t think CBS knows any other way.

 

Decent fight night, good win for CBS, he's certainly durable but i would fear for him against Opetaia which seems to be Zuffas plan for his next fight.

Nice to have a card finished for a decent time too

 

I dunno how much better he could have been agaisnt somone with a style like that. He wouldn’t have been able to take centre ring and jab his head off. He’d have just ran through him and fell on the ropes haha.

I didn’t see that fight. The Clarke and Massey fight was great from what I could see. Unbelievable coming back from that.

 

Very enjoyable, co main and main in terms of old school TV fights.

Stand trade and just take the fight to the other.

Pure slip and counter, wasn't the night for that, but I enjoyed that.

The main event was a great fight and Sam Hickey is certainly one to watch.

 

Yep, agree. Their sporting preferences are quite unconventional compared to most countries. I also doubt they give Usyk the credit he deserves for the level he has been boxing at and considering what he’s accomplished.

 

Hopefully CBS has secured the bag with the Zuffa deal, because exciting fight or not, he's starting to turn every outing into a war now. Hopefully when that deal is done, so is he.

He's had an excellent career, reminds me a bit of Clinton Woods, did it the hard way and overcame early setbacks. I'd rather see him ride off into the sunset with his faculties intact than hang around for one payday too many. You only get away with so many fights like that, especially at the higher weights and the highest level.

 

Yeah CBS is great to watch from a sitting on ya sofa watching a tear up POV, but for him as a man, you can only assume he's not aware of the saying you can't go to the well too many times..

 

Didn't think CBS was going to get Rozicki out, he took an insane amount of head shots, the man was possessed was like watching Max Headroom/ Terminator 3 clone.

 

CBS is also a big guy must walk around 215LB minimum, weight cuts and wars of attrition as we know it's a game plan that does come at a cost.

Rozicki well hats off to him, tough man. Type of guy that drags you into a street fight.

 

Yup, and he loves a tear-up, which creates the added problem that the two top guys in the division thrive in those kind of conditions.

CBS v Vidal might be a good one to go out on though, possibly even for Jay's vacant belt unless the Zuffa deal has potentially scuppered that. Rozicki is a tough guy, maybe a bit too brave for his own good though, especially in that sixth round.

 

@boxberry92 simply as they are both with Zuffa, CBS v Opetaia is his next and last fight I think.

 

Yes, that does seem the likely path. How do you think it goes for CBS? Think he's in for a long, painful night, or maybe even gets caught early? One thing I can't see is him just turning up for the payday. He'll have a go and make a fight of it for as long as he's able.

 

We know he's as tough as nails I think he gives a brave effort but loses TKO 8th onwards.

Never been dropped let alone stopped but the constant wars he has must be taking their toll on his body.
